  I only have good things to say about the "release at airport" process. I started the process 6 months ago in Minnesota. I had questions along the way and the agency was very responsive to my phone calls and email. Everyone was very helpful and I was able to speak to someone when needed. My shih tzu had to travel from Minneapolis to Denver and then from Denver to Honolulu and the flight was a little delayed. Even if it were on-time, it would have been calling it close to closing time. The people at the airport office waited for her and she was able to be released the same day at the airport 10 minutes before the office closed!! Mahalo for your good service. We are so happy to have Roxy with us. The process is a little complicated and time-consuming, but if you follow the procedures and call when you have questions, you could have a very positive outcome like we did. ***I must update this with some additional praise. Our dog has been through this process 3 times and every time the staff at Animal Quarantine has been very helpful and professional. I am getting ready for our next winter move and I called the office to be sure they received the results of Roxy's updated rabies titer and they answered the phone the first time I called and assured me that the updated test had arrived. Again, if you follow the directions for importation, there should be no problems.
